SWEET AS A PEACH SWAP CARD 🍑
As promised, I wanted to post how I created this fun fold card base for a recent New Annual Catalog SWAP. Trust me it's not as complicated as it looks!
- Pale Papaya Card Base: 4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2" then cut off 2-3/4" off the front
- Floral Paper is 2-1/2" x 4"
- 2" x 3-1/4" Stitched So Sweetly Die (#4)

The pear die cut was created using the same technique I blogged about on my CASE-ING TUESDAY #304 - SWEET AS A PEACH post. I used Pear Pizzazz for the leaves and vine. I used Pale Papaya and Calypso Coral for the peaches.
The inside of the fun fold card has a Basic White Contour & Frames Scallop Die Cut. If you cut your cardstock the normal layer for inside a card (4" x 5-1/4") you can easily cut the die with your Stampin' Emboss & Cut Machine.
Let the fun cardmaking begin:
I know it's hard to see here but I started with a piece of 4-1/4" x 11" Pale Papaya cardstock. TIP: if you cut an 8-1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock the long way you will get 2 cards.
Fold your card in half or score at 5-1/2" and fold to make your card base.
Grab your handy dandy Paper Trimmer and line up the top flap at the 2-3/4" mark as shown above. With your blade go ahead and trim this piece off.
Your card base should now look like this. STOP: BEFORE YOU BEGIN TO ASSEMBLE YOUR CARD OR MOVE ON TO THE NEXT STEP. BE SURE TO ADHERE THE DSP TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CARD FLAP FIRST.
Now comes the fun part! Flip the piece around and it becomes the front of your card! BEST TIP: Be sure to only put adhesive on the left side of the card front piece so you don't glue your card shut.
You can go ahead and start piecing your card together. Adhere the Basic White scalloped rectangle to the inside of the card. Adhere the Stitched So Sweetly Die Cut on the center piece of the cardstock. Add a few dimensionals to the back of the peach die cut and attach it to the card.
That's it! Super easy, huh!
