CASE-ING TUESDAY #309 - BACK ON YOUR FEET
Welcome back to another CASE-ING TUESDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE!
My card this week features the Back On Your Feet Stamp Set. I recently purchased this set because I saw so many cute cards being made with it! It's a great set to cheer somebody up if they have suffered a mishap.
The original card we are CASE-ING this week can be found on page 55 of the Annual Catalog. It's called Wildly Adorable (#155468). These babies are so ADORABLE!
The Rectangle Stitched Dies help make this sample a breeze! As you can see, three different sizes were used.
I used Rectangle Stitched Dies #2, #3, & #12 for my card.
I had fun coloring each of the animals with various Stampin' Blends. I've listed the colors below.
I started with a 5-1/4" x 11" Just Jade card base scored @ 5-1/2" and folded in the middle. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pattern Party 12' x 12" Host DSP.
Each of the animal images were all stamped in Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and then fussy cut. I used dimensionals to attach them to the card base.
The turtle was colored using the following Stampin' Blends:
- Old Olive Combo Pack (Body)
- Granny Apple Green Combo Pack (Top & Side Shell)
- Mossy Meadow Combo Pack (Shell Border)
The sentiment "OUCH!" was stamped in Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and die cut using the #9 Rectangle Stitched Die.
The Sloth was colored using the following Stampin' Blends:
- Smoky Slate Combo Pack (Sloth Body)
- Gray Granite Combo Pack (Bandage)
- Light Granny Apple Green (Leaves)
- Light Soft Suede (Tree Branch)
I tied a 10" piece of Just Jade 3/8" Gingham Ribbon from the Flowers of Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack around the stitched rectangle and tied a bow. Trim off any excess from the ends.
The Giraffe was colored using the following Stampin' Blends:
- Daffodil Delight Combo Pack (Body)
- Soft Suede Combo Pack (Spots)
- Light Petal Pink (Inside Ears)
- Light Basic Black (Feet)
