CASE-ING TUESDAY #358 - HAPPY FOREST FRIENDS
Welcome back! I can't believe it's the last Tuesday of the month. My family and I are heading to the Stanley Cup Conference Finals tonight. GO AVS!!
My card today was inspired by a family of foxes that live out on the golf course behind my house. If you are friends with me on Facebook I posted several pictures of one hunting and playing over the winter months. I was chatting with my Mom on the phone this morning and she asked if I had seen any of the foxes recently. To my dismay, it's been awhile. However, home construction is going on where the den is located so that is probably why. I'll keep you posted.
The example card we are CASE-ing this week can be found on page 49 of the Annual Catalog. This is such a sweet card!
Here are the card measurements so you can play along. I added an additional DSP layer to the card base. You can find the measurement posted below.

Sahara Sand Cardstock: 4-1/4" x 11" score at 5-1/2" & folded in half
Happy Forest Friends DSP Layer: 4-1/8" x 5-3/8"
Happy Forest Friends DSP Layer (Pennant): 2-1/4" x 5"
I just love everything about the Happy Forest Friends Suite Collection. It was inspired by Million Sales Achiever Diane Dimich. It's perfect for a brand new baby and kid inspired projects.
I stamped the fox image in Cajun Craze ink and then colored the body using a light Cajun Craze Stampin' Blend Marker. You will end up covering the eye. I used the fine tip of a light Basic Black Stampin' Blend Marker to replace it. I stamped the tree in Old Olive Ink on a scrap piece of Old Olive card stock. I stamped the mushroom in Sahara Sand Ink on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock.
I used the large circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies as my focal point. I stamped the greeting in Early Espresso Ink. Next, I stamped the tiny butterfly image in Mango Melody Ink.
I cut a 10" piece of Sahara Sand Ribbon from the coordinating Twill Ribbon Pack and tied a bow. I attached it to the top of the circle using a Mini Glue Dot.
Here's another look at the Happy Forest Friends 12" x 12" DSP. I used my paper snips to cut the pennant shape for the banner.
