CASE-ING TUESDAY #355 - WAVES OF INSPIRATION 🌊
Welcome! For today's CASE-ing Tuesday Sketch Challenge I selected the Waves of Inspiration Bundle. This set includes versatile phrases you can use for birthdays, friendships, or just as a kind pick-me-up.
The example card can be found on page 90 of the Annual Catalog. I thought this card was simply gorgeous and almost decided to just CASE it. LOL!
Here are the measurements for today's card. I didn't want to cover the "wave" image so I moved the sentiment down.
Measurements:
Basic Gray Cardstock: 4-1/4" x 11" score at 5-1/2" & folded in half
Design a Daydream DSP Layer: 4-1/4" x 5-1/4"
Basic White Cardstock: 3-1/8" x 4-1/4"
Basic White Cardstock (Die Cut): 1-3/8" x 2-3/4"
Basic White & Basic Gray Cardstock Scraps
I've been busy the last few days cutting and sorting for my product shares. While I was cutting DSP for the paper share, I noticed the cool bird design from the Design a Daydream 12" x 12" Host Pack. It got my creative juices flowing. I wanted it to be the focal point of my card. I adhered it on the Basic Gray card front.
Next, I stamped the "wave" image in Pool Party ink.
I die cut (3) clouds. One large and two small and attached them to the card base using dimensionals. I used a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush to add a bit of sparkle to each of the clouds.
I die cut the two birds in Basic Gray cardstock and adhered them to the card front. I wanted them to look like they were flying along the horizon.
I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray Ink on the label die cut. I wrapped approximately 13" of Linen Thread around the card front and placed the sentiment over the top. HELPFUL TIP: the dimenisonals on the bottom of the die cut will help keep the Linen Thread in place.
