CASE-ING TUESDAY #418 - TRUCKING ALONG

Happy Tuesday! We are Trucking Along this week with another Case-ing Tuesday Sketch Challenge. I'm dreaming of hot August nights. Imagine cruising along with the windows down in this old rusty Farm truck. The Trucking Along bundle will be back in stock the week of October 16th.

When I selected the example card for our challenge this week. I wanted to select a card that I thought would help inspire you. At least two layers work best. 

Steps: 

• Card Base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4") Mossy Meadow Cardstock

• DSP: Gone Fishing 12" x 12" DSP
• 4" x 7" Gingham Pattern
• Adhere to card base. HELPFUL TIP: Using a pencil, make a tiny tick mark at 1-1/2" on the top left corner and the bottom right corner of the front panel. This will act as a guide and help you apply the DSP at an angle to the card base. 

• Cardstock Layers:
• 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" Very Vanilla   
• 7/8" x 3-1/8" Very Vanilla (Sentiment)
• 1/4" x 3" Wild Wheat 
• 5-1/4" x 4" Basic White inside of card 

• Ink:
• Pecan Pie (ground)
• Mossy Meadow (inside trees)
• Crumb Cake (inside of the railing)
• Memento Tuxedo Black (truck, railing, trees, & sentiment)

• Stampin' Blends:
• Mossy Meadow (truck)
• Wild Wheat (dirt on truck)
• Pecan Pie (rust & steering wheel on truck, Trunk on trees) 
• Gray Granite (hub cap)
• Basic Black (tires)
• Color Lifter

• Stamp Set: Trucking Along & Charming Sentiments
• Stamp the truck in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. Color the truck using the Stampin' Blends colors mentioned above. Attach to card using Stampin' Dimensionals. 
• Stamp the truck railing in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. 
• Stamp the inside of the railing in Crumb Cake ink. Fussy cut the railing using Paper Snips. Attach to card using Mini Stampin' Dimenionals.
• Stamp the ground in Pecan Pie ink on the 3-3/4" x 4-1/4" Very Vanilla cardstock layer.  
• Stamp (2) trees in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the same Very Vanilla cardstock layer. Color both tree trunks using the Dark Pecan Pie Stampin' Blend. 
• Stamp the inside of the trees using Mossy Meadow ink. 
• Stamp the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the 7/8" x 3-1/8" Very Vanilla cardstock layer. Layer the sentiment on the 1/4" x 3" Wild Wheat cardstock layer. Attach to card using Stampin' Dimensionals. 

• Punch: Trucking Along Builder 
• Punch the trunk image out. 
• Attach to card using dimensionals. 

• Dies: Waves Dies
• Die Cut (3) Clouds.
• Attach each of the clouds to the card using Stampin' Mini Dimensionals.
