CASE-ING TUESDAY #322 - CUTEST HALLOWEEN

Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! Who else is getting excited for Halloween? Have you started decorating your home yet? I have to admit. I have FALLSUMMOWEEN going on in my house right now. My mantle above my fireplace is decorated with Fall decor. My kitchen is decorated in Halloween. Much to my surprise, I was able to find the highly sought after potion bottles & black gumball machine at my local Target store. My front porch is still decorated with Summer flower pots and a large Welcome sign. LOL!! Hopefully, the card I created for you today inspires you to

Be sure to head on over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see what everyone else is creating using this fun sketch shown below!

I love the simplicity of this card. If your looking for a traditional Christmas card the one shown above would be great to send to all your friends and family this Holiday Season. I decided I would switch up the Holidays a bit and created this adorable Halloween card instead. I followed the sketch exactly for all of my measurements.

I started with a Highland Heather card base. I pulled out the Cute Halloween 6" x 6" DSP (aka pattern paper) and selected two of my favorite designs. I trimmed the skull piece to the measurements listed above and adhered it to the front of the card base. Next, I trimmed the stripe pattern following the measurements and adhered it to the front of the card base. I stamped the sentiment from the Cutest Halloween Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock. I made sure to stamp the sentiment more towards the right side. This left enough room to attach the bow.

I felt like the card needed a lift, so I fussy cut several of the images out from another sheet of paper using my paper snips. I attached them to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Here's a fun tip! The Gingham Ribbon you see here is actually black & white. I colored the ribbon with my Light Highland Heather Stampin' Blend to achieve this colored ribbon that matches the card base perfectly! I added (3) Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins in Highland Heather around the sentiment.

I also decided to decorate the inside of the card to the match the front. Now I am ready to send it to one lucky recipient! Be sure to leave a comment below for a chance to win! Contest is open to US residents only.

Now it's your turn! Create your take on this week's sample and be sure to share it on the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group using #caseingtuesday322.
