Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop February 2021

I'm so happy to be participating in the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop again this month. For this month's Challenge we had to create one project using all three squares from any row, column, or diagonal line on the BINGO card.

This month's challenge was more difficult for me. I couldn't decide which alignment of squares would produce the best result. The possibilities were way too much fun! In the end, I chose the middle column.

My scrapbook page features the Playful Pets Suite found on pages 40-42 of the Annual Catalog. I had originally purchased this suite before we moved, but just recently found it while unpacking all my crafting supplies. For those of you who don't know, I took a six month stamping hiatus while we built our dream home in Berthoud, Colorado. I have started to slowly unpack. Cleaning my craft room is like shopping all over again!! Okay, so that's not necessarily all it's cracked up to be. I'm still in a temporary crafting space while my husband gets ready to finish our basement. I can't wait to design my new craft room!

Time to meet "Our Best Friend" Ginger! Ginger is a rescue puppy. She's been a part of our family going on five years this month! All we know about her journey is when she was a puppy, she was found roaming the streets of Houston and was brought to IresQ here in Colorado (to escape the high kill rate in Tx). She stayed with a foster family for a brief period until the adoption event in Golden. We are not entirely sure of her breed. We were told she is a Terrier mix and will probably weigh approximately 15 lbs.  Let me just say that she is truly the BEST dog we could have ever imagined! We are so lucky to have found this AMAZING dog! She is such a wonderful fit for our family. We are not sure 'Who rescued Who?'!

I love all the classic colors in this Suite:
  • Real Red
  • Flirty Flamingo
  • Cinnamon Cider
  • Soft Suede
  • Early Espresso
  • Basic Black

The first "Bingo" square I chose was the middle square which was "Bling". What deserving female pup doesn't deserve a rhinestone collar? Confession time. Ginger literally has a pink rhinestone collar & matching dog collar! LOL!

I used the Dog Builder Punch to cut the image using Soft Suede Cardstock. I then punched out a tiny red heart and attached it with a dimensional. The dog bowl was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White cardstock. I fussy cut the image and attached it with a dimensional.

The next square I chose was "Splatter". I used a Real Red Marker to add splatter to the Basic White cardstock layer on my page. The paw prints were cut out in Basic Black cardstock. I glued them by hand using Tombow Multipurpose Glue. I attached three tiny Resin Hearts.

One of the things I absolutely LOVE about this Suite are the Playful Pets Trinkets. Check out that adorable Dog Bone! I used a Glue Dot to attach it underneath the Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon with white stitching details from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack.

My last "BINGO" square was the top middle square.  I had to "include hearts on my layout". So...here's another look at the adorable Playful Pets Trinkets. This one features a silver heart. I added it to the end of the tag by cutting approximately 5" inches of the Black/White Baker's Twine. I tied a bow around the Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon with white stitching. I incorporated several hearts throughout my page, but this is the one that I love the most.

Thanks for stopping by!
