Handsomely Suited Mini Catalog SWAP Card
Hi everyone! I can finally share my Handsomely Suited Father's Day card I created for a recent SWAP I participated in. My card features products from the Well Suited Suite found on page 66 & page 67 of the Spring Mini Catalog.
This suite collection has been EXTREMELY POPULAR and is one of my top 10 favorite picks from the Mini Catalog. It's perfect for all those masculine cards! Dress those cards up fancy (Tuxedo or Business Suit) or causal (Suspenders & Bow Ties) you get to decide.

This card was so simple to create! I started with a 4 1/4" x 11" (fold in half) Night of Navy card base. I then added a 2" x 5 1/4" Poppy Parade cardstock layer with 1 7/8" x 5 1/8" Basic White down the center of the card.
The stripe border was cut using pattern paper from the Well Suited DSP and the long stitched rectangular border die that comes with the set. I trimmed off the excess so it would fit the card perfectly and then glued it down vertically next to the Poppy Parade cardstock layer.
Next, wrap the Linen Thread completely around the top of the card base making sure to crisscross both sides. I added a little adhesive on the center of the card and used that to hold the ends down. Don't worry. No one will see it because the sentiment will go over the top.
I can't get enough of these ADORABLE Bow Ties! The Suit & Ties Die Set comes with two different styles of bow ties along with a large tie.
First, I cut the bottom layer of the bow tie using a pattern paper. Then, I cut the center using the small oval die from the set in Poppy Parade and glued it down using Multipurpose Glue. I added a few Stampin' Dimensionals underneath and centered it on the Stitched Shapes Circle.
I used Smoky Slate cardstock to cut the large label from the Hippos & Friends Dies. Next, I stamped the sentiment in Smoky Slate Ink on Basic White cardstock and then die cut using the smaller version of the same label from the Hippos & Friends Dies. I applied Stampin' Dimensionals underneath and centered it in the middle of the card.
