CASE-ing Tuesday #292 - Flowering Cactus Product Medley

Here's a look at this week's sample card and sketch for today's card inspiration:

So I had a tough decision. I LOVE the sample card using the Hey Chick Birthday Stamp Set, but I decided to showcase the Flowering Cactus Product Medley Refill Kit instead. 

The kit includes:

1. 48 sheets of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
2. Die-Cut Felt Sheets (4 each of two colors)
3. Linen Thread Combo Pack

I followed the sketch exactly for all my measurements this week. I used Mint Macaron for the card base. I stamped the background using a "plus sign" image from The Right Triangle Stamp Set in Mint Macaron. The strips were cut from one of the DSP designs found in the kit. I adhered them to the card the exact way the sketch shows us. Next, I stamped the two sentiments in Mint Macaron ink on Basic White Cardstock. The sentiments are from the Heal Your Heart Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set. Hurry, there's only a few more days to receive this stamp set FREE with any $50 purchase!

My card details include fussy cutting the two cactus images along with the Calypso Coral flowers. All of these are found inside the kit! I also added one of the felt flowers and included a green rhinestone. I wanted to add a little extra detail to the Basic White layer so I attached a Square Vellum Doily on top.

The last detail includes tying a bow with both colors of the Linen Thread Combo Pack. I attached the bow using a glue dot and trimmed off the excess from the ends.
