CASE-ING TUESDAY #475 - GARDEN OF THANKS KIT

Are you a DIY-KIT person? I am! I love the simplicity of design and yet the flexibility of expanding my creativity if I am feeling adventurous. I had so much fun playing with each of the elements from the Garden of Thanks Kit. I purchased several of these kits and was able to create fourteen alternative card designs along with a scrapbooking layout. Guess what! I still had several pieces leftover. Hard to believe right? The CASE-ing Tuesday Sketch Challenges are a simple tool that helps bring design inspiration and puts them into action. Have you joined the CASE-ing Tuesday group on Facebook yet? If not, we would love to have you. I followed the sketch exactly this week.

I won't be showing every project I created today. Instead, I want to focus on just one. I created this card by cutting one of the card bases in half. I trimmed one of the layers using equal parts as shown in the sketch design. I adhered three of the layers on the front of a Berry Burst card base. The fourth layer was adhered to the inside of the card. I used the thank you preprinted die cut and then cut one of the preprinted flower die cuts to add an element of design. Next, I trimmed the branch die cuts in half and attached them on opposite sides of the greeting using Mini Glue Dots. The gold sequins provided in the kit add an extra bit of flare. So easy!
