CASE-ING TUESDAY #473 - UNDER THE MOON

Confession time. I have had the Under the Moon Stamp Set sitting on my shelf for a few months now. To be completely honest. I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to use this set. TODAY is that day! Once I took a look at the sketch challenge measurements this set came to my mind immediately. I knew it was going to be perfect. 

The CASE-ing Tuesday Sketch Challenges are a simple tool that helps bring design inspiration and puts them into action. Have you joined the CASE-ing Tuesday group on Facebook yet? If not, we would love to have you. I followed the sketch exactly this week.

I stamped the sunset image in Daffodil Delight Ink. Next, I used Sponge Daubers to daub Pretty Pink & Flirty Flamingo ink around the bottom edge of the stamp. This adds a fun ombre look and matches a sunset perfectly. I did the same thing for the water by stamping the image in Pool Party. Then daubing Balmy Blue ink along the edges. The dolphins were stamped in Smoky Slate ink. I "fussy cut" the single dolphin out and adhered it to the largest Spotlight On Nature Circle Die using a mini dimensional. The Country Lace 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper added just the right touch to my card. This paper is currently part of the 15% Designer Series Paper Sale (be sure to check out the product carousel below to order this paper, you only have until the end of August!) I wrapped Basic White Baker's Twine around the patterned paper before I applied this DSP layer to the front edge of the card base. 

The greeting was also stamped in Smoky Slate Ink and die cut out using the Spotlight on Nature Dies. Lastly, I applied (3) Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots.
