Countryside Inn Scrapbook Layout

 

To create this layout you will need the following supplies: 

• Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper (DSP) 12" x 12"
• Basic White Cardstock 12" x 12"
• Misty Moonlight Cardstock 8.5" x 11"
• 2023-2025 In Color Dots (Boho Blue)
• Paper Trimmer
• Stampin' Dimensionals
• 12" x 12" Sheet of Grid Paper
• Repositionable Adhesive

Step 1: Use a piece of Basic White Cardstock as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Select 9 patterns from the Countryside Inn DSP. Since the paper is double-sided it works great.

Step 3:  Cut (6) 2" x 12" strips from the variety of papers. 

Step 4: Cut (5) 2" inch squares on each strip. (You will have a total of 23 squares on the final layout.)

Step 5: Cut (10) 1/4" strips of the Countryside Inn DSP in any pattern you desire. The strips will be discarded later. 

Step 6: Using the grid paper as your guide. Lay the 1/4" strips across the front of the base. Use repositionable adhesive. 

Step 7: Rotate the squares to create a diamond shape and equally space out before adhering, balancing the patterns throughout. Use the picture below as a reference.

Step 8: Adhere each of the squares to the base paper. Trim away any excess with the Paper Trimmer or Paper Snips. Gently remove the 1/4" strips. 

Step 9: Cut (3) 1-/1/4" x 1-1/4" Misty Moonlight Cardstock Squares. With Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere (3) Misty Moonlight Squares as shown. Adhere 2023-2025 In Color Dots in the middle. 

Step 10: Cut (2) 4-1/2" x 6-1/2" mats from the Countryside Inn DSP.  Layer the light mat under the dark mat. Mount a 5" x 7" photo on top.

Step 11: Journal as desired.
