CASE-ING TUESDAY #390 - SEA TURTLE 🐢

Welcome back! I've got a great masculine birthday card to share today. There are a number of great stamp sets in the Spring Mini Catalog. It makes it hard to narrow my selection sometimes. However, I was immediately drawn to the Sea Turtle set. It's a new kind of stamp called Reversible. What is that you might ask? Reversible stamps let you double your creative fun. They are specialized photopolymer stamps that allow you to stamp using BOTH sides! How cool is that?

All of the products I used on this week's card are NOW AVAILABLE!

We are CASE-ing the card found on page 72 of the Spring Mini Catalog.

We've got lots of fun circles for this week's sketch design! You may add or use less than the amount that is pictured.

Steps:

Card Base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4") Night of Navy cardstock
Background Layer: 4" x 5-1/4" By The Bay 6" x 6" (DSP)

Die cut the DSP layer using the Picture This Circles Die
Additional circles were cut using various patterns from the same paper pack & solid cardstock (Mint Macaron & Balmy Blue)

Die Cut Layer: 3" Basic White cardstock Stylish Shapes Circle
Stamps: Sea Turtle & Adventurous Journey

Stamp the sea turtle in Balmy Blue Ink on Balmy Blue Cardstock. Fussy cut the image by hand.
Stamp the Sea Dollar in Crumb Cake Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Fussy cut the image by hand.
Stamp the Sea Turtle in Mint Macaron Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Clean the stamp. Reverse (flip it over) the stamp and stamp the solid image in Mint Macaron Ink. Fussy cut the image by hand.
Stamp both sentiments in Crumb Cake Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. Die cut the sentiments out using the Picture This Dies.

Ink:

Pear Pizzazz (Seaweed) HELPFUL TIP: Ink the stamp. Stamp the image. Stamp the image again without reinking the stamp. This will give you the light color.

Mint Macaron (Sea Turtle)

Sentiments: Sea Turtle Stamp Set

Stamp greeting in Blackberry Bliss ink on Basic White cardstock

Dies: Picture This Dies & Stylish Shapes Dies

Die cut DSP layer using the Circle Frames Die
Die cut the outside & inside sentiment using the Rectangle Frames Die

Embellishments: Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls
