CASE-ING TUESDAY #329 - MERRIEST MOMENTS

Hey everyone! I decided to take a break from craft show crafting and join the CASE-ing Tuesday Sketch Challenge this week. I could definitely use the distraction! My next Craft Show (Christmas in Windsor) is scheduled November 20th & 21st at the Windsor Recreation Center. This is a LARGE show with over 65+ vendors. All items are handmade. Be sure to stop by booth to say "hi" and to get a head start on all your gift giving!

Okay, confession time. I totally forgot about Daylight Savings and realized that it gets dark at 5:00 PM. I had to hurry when I created this GORGEOUS Christmas Card!

I found my new favorite item in the Holiday Catalog! It's the Merriest Moments Bundle. This bundle is so much fun to play with! I plan on creating my Christmas Cards with it!

The card we are CASE-ING this week is from the Holiday Mini Catalog and can be found on page 46. It features the Welcoming Woods Stamp Set.

Here are the card dimensions if you want to play along with us! The only measurements I followed exactly was the 4" x 4" layer.

I started with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Evening Evergreen card base scored at 4-1/4" and folded in half. I adhered the 4" x 4" Painted Christmas DSP layer directly onto the card base. I die cut the frame using the coordinating dies in Soft Succulent cardstock. So simple and easy! Adhere the die cut frame to the card base and then follow the next step below.

I cut a 1/4" x 5-1/2" strip of Red Velvet Specialty Paper and adhered it to the center of the card.

Next, I cut a 2-1/4" x 3" piece of Real Red cardstock. I die cut the rectangle frame in Basic White cardstock from the coordinating dies. I stamped the "Season's Greetings" sentiment in Real Red ink towards the bottom. Adhere the Basic White die cut on the Real Red cardstock layer.  Attach the Real Red layer to the card base using dimensionals.

Stamp the large & small poinsettia flower images in Real Red ink. Stamp the center of the small poinsettia image with Bumblebee ink. Die cut both the images out. Attach to the card base (overlapping each other) using mini dimensionals.

Stamp the large and small pine images in Evening Evergreen ink. Die cut the images out using the coordinating dies. Attach to the card base using mini dimensionals. Stamp the large and medium leaf in Soft Succulent ink. Repeat the cutting process and attach to card using mini dimensionals.

For the last step, attach (3) Red Wonderful Gems. That's it! In less than ten minutes, you can create this simple and elegant Holiday card!

Now it's your turn! Create your take on this week's sample and be sure to share it on the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group using #caseingtuesday329.
