CASE-ING TUESDAY #317 - DELICATE DAHLIAS

Welcome back my Stamping Friends!

Here are the measurements for you to CASE (Copy and Share Everything). 

I have so many fun details on my card! I started with a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Highland Heather cardstock scored at 5-1/2" and folded in half. 

Next, I decided to emboss the front layer of the card base. HELPFUL TIP: Be sure to line the end of the folder up with the score line. As you can see here. 

Following the "sandwich" guidelines printed on the plate, I ran it through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. 

This machine is WONDERFUL for giving you immaculate embossing textures every time. It gives just enough pressure that it doesn't tear or crack the cardstock! 

I stamped the outline of the the Delicate Dahlia in Gorgeous Grape Ink on Basic White Cardstock. I stamped the inside of the Dahlia with Highland Heather Ink. I stamped the outline of the leaves in Mossy Meadow Ink. I stamped the inside of the leaves with Granny Apple Green. I followed the cutting guideline above and attached the strips to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.  

I die cut a small Stitched Rectangle in Basic White cardstock. Next, I stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape Ink. I attached it to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals. 

I tied a bow using the White 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon and attached it to the sentiment layer using a Glue Dot.

I cut a piece of  2-7/8" x 4" Cork 12" x 12" Specialty Paper. I layered this behind the Basic White stamped layer. This specialty paper is perfect for adding layered dimension to any design. 

I attached (3) Opal Rounds to the front of the card.
