CASE-ING TUESDAY #297 - ZANY ZEBRAS
Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! Here's the fun card I created for today's sketch challenge.
Want to play along? Today's card was CASE'D from page 64 of the Mini Catalog. The original card features the Baby Pull Toys Stamp Set.
I was so sad to see Zany Zebras on the Last Chance Product List. When I took a look at this week's sketch challenge I knew I had to create a card using this ADORABLE Stamp Set.
I started with Magenta Madness for my card base. I then cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock. Using one of my new Blending Brushes, I gently rubbed Whisper White Craft Ink in a circular motion on the star stencil that was included as a FREE Gift in the March 2021 Here's To You Paper Pumpkin Kit. I attached the card layer to the card base using Dimensionals. Next, I added a 1-3/4" x 4" strip of True Love DSP.
I stamped both the zebra & "Kick Up Your Heels" sentiment using Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock. I trimmed both the edges of the 3" x 1/2" sentiment using the Banners Pick A Punch. Check out the sparkle on the zebra's mane! Wink of Stella is perfect for accenting stamped images. You get the look of glitter without the mess! Hopefully, you can tell by the picture I posted above. The 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots are another item I am sad to see retire. I have been using them on A LOT of projects lately. You better hurry and order them soon before they are gone for good!
For the final touch, I added a Melon Mambo bow just below the sentiment using a Glue Dot.
