I had such an AMAZING time at my first Backstage Event in Las Vegas! I received recognition in four "Better your Best" categories of business achievements (Team Building, Personal Sales, Leadership, & Direct Title Advancement). I got to meet and have my picture taken with Stampin' Up!'s CEO Sara Douglass. I also enjoyed some card making fun. I joined a Memories & More class with 75 fellow demonstrators hosted by Kevin Theesen & Scot Strehlow. We had such a blast!
Cut down on prep time and get right to the crafting fun with the Bright & Beautiful Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. The lovely watercolor designs in blue, pink, and yellow are soft and cheerful and sure to make anyone feel happy. See how quick and easy it is to make your own cards. Just add designs from your favorite Bright & Beautiful Memories Card Pack featured above. You can create a handmade card in just minutes that's sure to please.
Here's a look at the ten cards I created at the Memories & More Class hosted by Kevin Theesen & Scot Strehlow while I was at Backstage. I've included mine from today since I used leftover supplies from the pack. They are so bright & colorful!
Here's a look at the example cad we are CASE-ing this week. It can be found on page 85 of the Annual Catalog.
As you can see, I added a few additional components not found in the card packs. I used the Gold Celebrations 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper in the confetti streamer design for the background layer. Up next, I die cut the Basic White rectangle using the Radiating Stitches Dies. Apply both of the layers to the card front using Mini Glue Dots. I centered the balloon sticker at the top of the rectangle die cut using Stampin' Dimensionals. I cut approximately 8" of Simply Elegant Trim in Gold and tied a bow. Attach it to the left balloon using a Mini Glue Dot. Trim off any excess from the ends. Next, I cut the greeting from one of the printed cards found in the Bright & Beautful Memories & More Card Pack. Adhere the greeting to the 1" x 2-3/4" piece of Basic White Cardstock using several Stampin' Dimensionals. To finish the greeting, I placed the border sticker directly on the same cardstock layer. It will overlap. Just trim off any excess from the ends. I layered the greeting on a 1" x 2-1/2" piece of Berry Burst cardstock. Helpful Tip: place the Berry Burst cardstock layer at a slight angle. Attach the greeting to the card front using adhesive. Lastly, apply (3) Tinsel Gems Four-Pack in Berry Burst for a touch of elegance.
