CASE-ING TUESDAY #349 - MEASURE OF LOVE

Hi everyone! It's my favorite day of the week-TUESDAY! My family and I traveled to California last week for Spring Break. We flew to Anaheim for a volleyball tournament and then took a few days to drive the scenic Pacific Coast Highway. AMAZING! Our final destination was San Francisco.

Here is the example card we are CASE-ing (Copy and Share Everything) that can be found on page 36 of the Mini Catalog. I have to admit. I was very tempted to just CASE this GORGEOUS card. I recently ordered the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set. It is a Disinktive Stamp Set which means it has a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images.

Here are the card measurements if you want to play along with us this week.

I started with a 4-1/4" x 11" Blushing Bride card base scored at 5-1/2" and folded in half.

Next, stamp the cupcake image from the Measure of Love Stamp Set in Basic Gray ink on a 3-5/8" x 4-1/4" Basic White cardstock layer. Once complete, adhere the layer to the card base.

The Measure of Love Stamp Set is on the Last Chance Product List and will be RETIRING SOON

I colored each of the cupcakes using the following colors of Stampin' Blends.

  1. Light & Dark Crumb Cake (Cupcake Liners)
  2. Light Soft Succulent
  3. Light So Saffron
  4. Light Flirty Flamingo

Next, adhere the 5/8" x 4-1/8" Gingham DSP layer to the card base. I stamped the greeting in Basic Gray ink on a piece of 5/8" x 3-7/8" Blushing Bride cardstock. Attach this layer to the card base using dimensionals.

Using a Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, I added some sparkle to the solid cupcakes.

For the last step, I tied a bow using White Baker's Twine and trimmed off any excess from the ends. I attached the bow to the card base using a single Glue Dot.

I love how clean and simple this card was to make! You could make multiples in several different colors and have them ready to send to a lucky recipient.

Now it's your turn! Create your take on this week's sample and be sure to share it on the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group using #caseingtuesday349.
