CASE-ING TUESDAY #333 - IN THE MOMENT

Welcome back to another CASE-ing Tuesday Sketch Challenge! I am sharing another sneak peek from the upcoming January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. It's a fun new stamp set called In the Moment. I love all the sentiments and I know you will too!

Time to get back to the sketch challenge. 

The card we are CASE-ing (Copy And Selectively Share Everything or Copy And Share Everything) is on page 22 of the Holiday Catalog. Just like many of you, I have a tendency to overlook some of the products in the catalog. I had to do a double take and flip back to page 22 of the Holiday Catalog. I can honestly say I didn't recognize this particular bundle. It's probably a good thing that Stampin' Up! is offering FREE SHIPPING TOMORROW because now I am going to order this festive Classic Cloche Bundle before it retires. I love the idea of building my own scene inside the coordinating Cloche Shaker Domes that are found on page 23. 

 

Here's a look at the measurements I used to create my card. So quick and easy! 

As noted above, I started with a 4-1/4" x 11" Basic White Thick card base and scored both sides at 2-3/4". Fold in both the score lines and you get this clever card design! I selected this fun floral design from the Flowering Cactus Product Medley Refill Kit. I cut one sheet of the 6" x 6" floral design down to 2-1/2" x 4" and adhered both panels to each side of the card base.

I fussy cut all the elements you see here from one of the design sheets. I attached them using dimensionals. 

Same thing on this side. All fussy cut by hand and attached to the card base using dimensionals. 

Once you begin to open the card, you can see all the cactus & flowers elements on the right panel. So pretty!

Here's a look at how I designed the inside of the card. I cut another sheet of DSP featuring this GORGEOUS cactus design down to 4" x 5-1/4" and adhered it to the card base. Next, I grabbed my Stitched Rectangle Dies and die cut the rectangle out of Basic White cardstock. I adhered it to the center if the card.

I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and die cut the shape out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Before I attached the die cut to the front of the card, I cut approximately 24" of each color of twine and wrapped it around the card. I tied a bow on the right side and trimmed off any excess from the ends. In order to keep the twine in place, I attached several dimensionals to left hand side of die cut ONLY. 

HELPFUL TIP: Press your twine down firmly on the dimensionals and this will help keep it in place. 

I also placed a small dimensional on the back of the right side of the die cut to help keep the card closed. 

For the last step, I added (3) Elegant Faceted Gems in Pearl Pink to the card base.
