CASE-ING TUESDAY #547 - Hugs & Kisses Valentine Card

Valentine's Day is approaching. Do you love to send Valentine's Day cards? A Valentine's Day card is a short, heartfelt message that expresses love, affection, or appreciation for someone special, often shared on February 14 along with a sweet or romantic gesture. It usually combines a warm greeting with a personal note that reflects the relationship, from deeply romantic to light and playful.

How to play along? Makeover the card (pictured above). You can change a little or a lot, or make the card just as it is in the featured catalog. Then post your card to the CASE-ing Tuesday group on Facebook. You can use the sketch as a guide when creating your card. We can't wait to see your cards! Are you looking for a great way to utilize scrap pieces of paper? This sketch is perfect for you! I had fun dry embossing the Basic White cardstock layer with the Hearts of Love 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I sorted through my Made with Love paper scraps. After finalizing my selections, I adhered those to the dry embossed layer. I wrapped Bubble Bath 1/8" Faux Linen Ribbon around this layer and tied a bow. Once complete, I adhered the dry embossed layer to the Strawberry Slush card front. I stamped the line image heart in Strawberry Slush Ink and die cut the image out using the coordinating Endless Love heart die. The large arrow was die cut in Vellum. Next, I die cut the decorative open heart using Real Red cardstock. Using several Mini Glue Dots I attached the heart die cut to the stamped heart. I applied several Stampin Dimensionals to the back of the heart die cut and attached it to the center of the card. Using the tag from the Endless Love Dies, I die cut one tag using Basic White & the other in Bubble Bath cardstock. I die cut the small hearts in the middle of the Bubble Bath tag. I stamped the "Hugs & Kisses" greeting in Real Red Ink. For an added touch of surprise, I included a red lip from the Loose Valentine's Assortment.

I hope you enjoy the card I created for you today.
