Monday Montage - September 2024 Autumn Abundance Paper Pumpkin Kit
It's the last Monday of September. My card today features the September 2024 Autumn Abundance Paper Pumpkin Kit. I created this fun shaker card using elements from the kit. What is a shaker card, you ask? A "Shaker Card" is a card with a clear window filled with items - usually little sparkly things -that move about when you shake the card...and that's why we call it a shaker card!
Gather the following supplies:
- Cardstock
- Window Sheets
- Foam Adhesive Strips (adhesive is important for this project)
- Champagne Iridescent Dots or any type of filler for the inside
I used elements from the original kit including preprinted die cuts for the filler elements used inside. Using the stamp set that came with the kit. I also stamped a few of the leaves in Cajun Craze Ink & Wild Wheat Ink on a Basic White cardstock. Using paper snips, I fussy cut the images and placed them inside the window.
To assemble the shaker card, you will need a piece a cardstock with the center cut out. Flip the cardstock over and place the clear window sheet over the cut out shape. HELPFUL TIP: Cut the Window Sheet slightly larger than the cut out. Next, cut the foam adhesive strips and place them around the shape of the cutout. Use the foam adhesive strips to secure the clear window sheet to the backside of the cardstock. This will form a wall. Place the filler elements inside. You don't want any of them to come out. Gently remove the backing from the Foam Adhesive Strips. Place another layer of cardstock over the top. Flip it around so the front side us showing. Then give it a shake!!!!
