Happy Tuesday! Welcome back to another CASE-ing Tuesday Sketch Challenge. It's bitter cold here in Colorado so I've been thinking of somewhere warm and tropic. I started with a Granny Apple Green card base. The background paper is a pattern from the Stargazing 12" x 12" DSP. Next, I layered the leaves die cut from the Gorgeous Garden Dies.
I die cut (3) Basic White Perennial Postage Squares. I decorated each of the postage squares using one of the jungle animals.
I colored the sloth using the following Stampin' Blends Combo Pack:
Light & Dark Crumb Cake
Ivory
The branch was die cut in Shaded Spruce cardstock from the Jungle Pals Dies Set.
The Lemur was colored using the following Stampin' Blends Combo Packs:
Dark Basic Black
Dark Daffodil Delight (Eyes)
Light Gray Granite
Dark Smoky Slate
The tall grass was die cut in Mossy Meadow cardstock using the Jungle Pals Dies Set.
I heat embossed the greeting using White embossing powder from the Trusty Tools stamp set on Basic Black cardstock. I used my paper snips to trim the end into a pennant shape.
The toucan was colored using the following Stampin' Blends Combo Packs:
Dark Basic Black (Beak)
Light Basic Black (Body)
Dark Daffodil Delight (Beak)
Dark Pumpkin Pie (Beak)
Light Sweet Sorbet (Mouth)
The tree was die cut using Crumb Cake cardstock from the Jungle Pals Dies Set. I had to trim the trim to my liking because it is too large for the square postage die cut.
