CASE-ING TUESDAY #404 - LITTLE MONKEY

Happy Tuesday! Are you ready for a new product sneak peek from the 2023 Annual Catalog? For my CASE-ing Tuesday sketch challenge card today, I used the Little Monkey Stamp Set. I had fun coloring the monkey with Stampin' Blends Markers in the new Core Color Pecan Pie. I also used the new 2023-2025 In Color Wild Wheat for the banana. The branch features the new 2023-2025 In Color Pebbled Path. Such a great variation of color don't you think?





Check out the example card that can be found on page 18 of the Spring Mini Catalog. I followed the measurements exactly and added an additional layer of designer series paper. 




Steps: 
  • Card Base (4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2") Pecan Pie Cardstock (Available May 2nd)
  • DSP: In Color 6" x 6" DSP Assortment (Available May 2nd)
    • 4" x 5-1/4" Wild Wheat
    • Adhere to center of card base.
  • Cardstock Layers:
    • 3-5/8" x 5" Basic White Deckled Rectangle Die Cut  
    • 5-1/4" x 4" Basic White inside of card 
    • Scrap piece of Basic White (Sentiment) 
    • Scrap Piece of Basic White (Leaves)
    • Scrap piece of Soft Suede (Monkey)
    • Scrap piece of Basic White (Banana)
  • Ink:
    • Pecan Pie (Available May 2nd)
  • Stamp Set: Little Monkey (Available May 2nd)
    • Stamp the tree branch, vine, and palm leaf in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White Deckled Rectangle Die Cut.
    • Stamp the monkey image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White cardstock. Fussy cut out. Attach to card using dimensionals. 
    • Stamp the banana image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White cardstock. Fussy cut out. Attach to card using dimensionals. 
    • Stamp the greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White cardstock. Fussy cut out. Attach to card using dimensionals. 
  • Stampin' Blends Combo Packs: Pecan Pie (Available May 2nd), Wild Wheat (Available May 2nd), Pebbled Path (Available May 2nd), Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, Mossy Meadow, & Ivory
    • Color the monkey image using Light & Dark Pecan Pie. 
    • Color the monkey's face & ears using Ivory.
    • Color the branch using Light & Dark Pebbled Path.
    • Color the leaves using Light & Dark Old Olive. 
    • Color the vine using Light Mossy Meadow.
    • Color the banana using Light & Dark Wild Wheat. 
    • Color the Palm Leaf using Light & Dark Old Olive. 
    • Color the remaining leaves using Light & Dark Granny Apple Green, Mossy Meadow, & Old Olive. 
  • Dies: Deckled Rectangles & Stylish Shapes Dies
    • Die Cut the sixth largest Deckle Rectangle frame in and attach to card using dimensionals.
    • Die Cut the third largest Banner for the greeting and attach to card using dimensionals.
