CASE-ING TUESDAY #403 - SEASON OF CHIC

Happy Tuesday! Today, I wanted to focus on products that I know are not retiring. The Season of Chic stamp set and coordinating Chic Dies are carrying over to the new Annual Catalog. However, the Season of Chic Bundle is retiring and will not. This means if you don't purchase the bundle now. You will miss out on the bundled savings which includes 10% off. Also, the BEAUTIFUL Texture Chic 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper is retiring. Once, it is gone it is gone for good. Be sure to order any of these products from the Texture Chic Suite before they sell out. 






I followed the measurements exactly for my card this week. I opted out of the note card as mentioned above and used a piece of Basic White Cardstock instead. I also added an additional layer for my sentiment.






Steps: 
  • Card Base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4") Gray Granite cardstock
  • DSP: Texture Chic 12" x 12" DSP
    • 3-1/4 x 4-1/2" Polka Dot Design
    • 2-5/8" x 3-7/8" Seashell Design (need to trim off excess paper)
    • Attach both panels to card base using adhesive.
  • Cardstock Layers:
    • 3-1/2" x 5" Basic White  
    • 5/8" x 2-3/4" Basic White for sentiment 
    • 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White for inside of card 
    • Scrap piece Soft Suede (Sea Shell Die Cut)
    • Scrap piece Blushing Bride (Sea Shell Die Cut)
    • Scrap piece of Petal Pink (Conch)
    • Scrap piece of Basic White (Stamped Seashell)
    • Scrap Piece of Sahara Sand (Stamped Seashell)
  • Ink:
    • Sahara Sand (seashell)
    • Soft Suede (greeting & seashell)
    • Petal Pink (seashell accent)
  • Stamp Set: Season of Chic
    • Stamp the seashell in Sahara Sand Ink on Basic White cardstock. 
      • Die Cut image out.
    • Stamp the seashell in Soft Suede Ink on Sahara Sand cardstock. 
      • Die Cut image out.
    • Stamp the greeting in Soft Suede Ink on Basic White cardstock. 
      • Attach to card using dimensionals.
  • Accessories: Small Blending Brush
    • Gently rub the head of the brush on the top of the Petal Pink ink pad. 
    • Apply color to the seashell using circular motions.  
  • Dies: Chic (included in the bundle)
    • Die Cut seashell in Blushing Bride attach to card using mini dimensionals.
    • Die Cut seashell in Soft Suede attach to card using mini glue dots. 
    • Attach (2) stamped seashells to card using dimensionals.
    • Die Cut conch in Petal Pink attach to card using multipurpose glue. 
  • Specialty Paper: Fine Shimmer 12" x 12" Paper Pack 
    • 1/2" x 4-3/4" in Gold.
    • Adhere to cad using adhesive. 
  • Ribbon: White 3/4" Frayed (retiring soon)
    • Cut approximately 5 inches.
    • Adhere to card using Tear and Tape.
