CASE-ING TUESDAY #401 - SWEET CITRUS BUNDLE 🍋

Welcome! Can you believe it's the last Tuesday of the month? Things are starting to get crazy around my house. We toured a local college last weekend. My daughter only has eight weeks left of high school. I'm frantically trying to get things in order for her party. So much for staying ahead when it comes to organizing her school pictures & documenting memories from the last twelve years. I'm hoping to at least have everything in albums for everyone to look at.

My card this week features the Sweet Citrus Bundle. The Sweet Citrus Bundle includes the Sweet Citrus Stamp Set and the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder. It includes three products in one! You can use these items separately for a clean, modern look. Or use them together to create such dimensional images you think you could smell the zest!

Want to play along? Here are the card measurements used to create the sample card that can be found on page 67 of the Spring Mini Catalog. I followed the measurements exactly, but decided to add an extra DSP layer in a fun lemon design from the Tea Boutique 6" x 6" Designer Series Pack. It coordinates perfectly. Don't you think?

Look at all that dimension! I can't believe how life like the lemons look once I finished stamping, dry embossing, and die cutting them out. So cool!

Steps:
  • Card Base (4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2") Daffodil Delight cardstock
  • DSP: Tea Boutique 6" x 6" DSP
    • 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" Die cut this layer out using the Scallop Frame found in the Scalloped Contour Dies.
  • Cardstock Layers:
    • 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" Basic White
    • 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Daffodil Delight inside of card
    • 5-1/4" x 4" Basic White inside of card
  • Ink:
    • Mossy Meadow (leaves & greeting)
    • Daffodil Delight (lemons)
  • Stamp Set: Sweet Citrus
    • Stamp the outer peel images in Daffodil Ink on Basic White cardstock.
    • Stamp the inside fruit images in Daffodil Delight on the same cardstock layer mentioned above.
    • Stamp (3) leaves in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic White cardstock.
    • Stamp the greeting in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic White cardstock.
  • Embossing Folder: Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder
    • Dry emboss the top panel of the card.
    • Dry emboss the lemon images at the same time as you die cut the lemon images out. Helps save you time!
  • Dies: Sweet Citrus (included in the bundle & not sold separately) & Stylish Shapes
    • Die Cut (3) leaves
    • Die cut lemons
    • Die cut the greeting using the large banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
    • Adhere all of the above to the card using dimensionals.
  • Embellishments: Gilded Gems
    • 1-Large
    • 2-Medium
  • Ribbon: Evening Evergreen 3/8" Windowpane Check
    • Cut approximately 12 inches and tie a bow.
    • Trim excess of ends.
    • Adhere to card placing a Glue Dot in the center.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you will give this week's sketch a try.

Happy Stamping!
