CASE-ING TUESDAY #398 - PLAYING IN THE RAIN

Hi everyone! I'm back this week with a fun card I created using products from the Rain or Shine Suite Collection. It's cold and raining here in Colorado so I figured the Playing in the Rain Bundle was perfect for our sketch challenge this week. I have to admit. I have had this product collection sitting on my shelf for awhile. I can't even begin to tell you how ADORABLE this set is! I'm definitely wishing I would have taken the time to play around with these products a lot sooner. It's perfect for all your Spring projects!

Here's a look at the sample card we will be CASE-ing. I followed the measurements exactly. Simple and easy!

Steps: 

• Card Base (4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2") Balmy Blue cardstock

• DSP: Rain or Shine 12" x 12" DSP
• 2" x 4-1/4"
• Fussy cut umbrella 

• Cardstock: Basic White
• 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" Basic White Stylish Shapes Square

• Ink:
• VersaMark
• Tuxedo Memento Black

• Stampin' Blends:
• Light Flirty Flamingo (Nose)
• Light Petal Pink (Ears)
• Light & Dark Daffodil Delight (Rain Coat)
• Light & Dark Balmy Blue (Puddle)

• Stamp Set: Playing in the Rain 
• Stamp the bunny in Tuxedo Memento Black Ink on Basic White Stylish Shapes Square
• Color the image using the Stampin' Blends Markers noted above 

• Heat Emboss: Clear Embossing Powder
• Stamp raindrops randomly in Versamark Ink on the Balmy Blue card base
• Apply Clear Embossing Powder
• Tap off any excess powder
• Apply heat until the raindrops change clear using the Heat Tool 

• Ribbon: Petal Pink 3/8" Soft Polyester Ribbon
