CASE-ING TUESDAY #372 - THE BEST REMEDY KIT

HELLO! The month of September is finally upon us! We've had record breaking heat here in Colorado over the last few days. It gives me an excuse to stay indoors and craft! LOL!!! I created a fun card for you today using components from The Best Remedy Kit.

We all know that sometimes life stinks. When it does, there's a simple solution: The Best Remedy Kit! Make one of the adorable, under-the-weather animals the focal point of your card. Then customize your project with the stamp set and embellishments. The stamp set includes cute images and fun phrases that are sure to deliver a smile. When someone you love needs a pick-me-up, this kit offers the perfect remedy! Also available in French.

Kit includes:
* The Best Remedy Photopolymer Stamp Set
* Starry Sky Classic Stampin’ Spot
* 9 cards: 3 each of 3 designs
* Folded card size: 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" (14 x 10.8 cm)
* 9 coordinating envelopes
* 1 clear block
* Embellishments
* Adhesive

Product colors: Basic Gray, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink, Pool Party, Starry Sky

The original card we are CASE-ing can be found on page 86 of the Holiday Mini Catalog. Just another reminder that the Holiday Season is fast approaching! How cute are these caroling mice?

Here are the card measurements if you want to play along.

Let's get started! I used Pool Party cardstock for the card base. As many of you know, I like to cut the original card bases found in a kit to use as layers for fun alternate card ideas! The multi-colored stripe layer is actually one of the card bases. I trimmed it down using the measurements noted above.

The solid green layer is from another card base that can be found in the kit. Next, I grabbed a piece of Polished Pink cardstock and dry embossed it using the Gingham Embossing Folder.
The polka dot layer is also a die cut element found in the kit. To add the fun border, I die cut the edge using the Zig-Zag metal die found in the Basic Borders Dies. PLEASE NOTE: it was too short to fit on the card horizontal so I had to cut another small piece and glued them together. It's not noticeable to the naked eye because I covered it with the mouse die cut.

I stamped the greeting in Polished Pink Ink on the Basic White die cut (found in the kit) and attached it to the card using the provided dimensionals.

This ADORABLE mouse is another die cut image from the kit. I attached it to the card front using the provided dimensionals.

I added (5) Sequin Embellishments that come with the kit.

I hope my card gives you the inspiration to create one of your own!

Happy Stamping!
