CASE-ING TUESDAY #364 - WILD & SWEET 🐨
It's Tuesday! Do you know that means? Time for another CASE-ing Tuesday Sketch Challenge! I decided on a masculine theme for my card this week. I have a few paper scraps leftover from the He's the Man 12" x 12" DSP pack. One of my favorites! This particular design caught my eye and I thought it worked well with the Wild & Sweet Stamp Set. Don't you?
Here are the card measurements which I followed exactly this week. My sentiment size is different than the one posted above since I used a die cut instead.
The Wild & Sweet Stamp Set captured my heart the first time I saw it in the Annual Catalog. Being a nature enthusiast I just knew I had to add this one to my stamp collection. You can't help but feel the warm-and-fuzzies when you see this adorable stamp collection.
Next, I stamped the Koala image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on the Basic White Scallop Rectangle Die Cut. This stamp set offers images that are SO REALISTIC!
I used the following Stampin' Blend Markers to color in the Koala:
- Light & Dark Crumb Cake (Tree)
- Light & Dark Mossy Meadow (Leaves)
- Light & Dark Smoky Slate (Koala)
- Color Lifter
Here's a fun tip! I actually colored the body entirely using the Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blend Marker. I then went back over the areas where I thought the color should be "lifted" using the Color Lifter. This helped showcase more "white" in the fur. I attached the die cut to the card base using adhesive.
I stamped the greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink from the Art Gallery Stamp Set and then die cut the image out using the smallest label from the Sending Dies. I attached the sentiment to the card base using mini dimensionals. I added (3) Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the right corner of the card.
