CASE-ING TUESDAY #362 - SHADED SUMMER

Here is the card we are CASE-ing this week. It features the Awash in Beauty Suite found on page 66 of the Annual Catalog. If you are looking for more creative inspiration using this set. Be sure to check out my Awash in Beauty Class To Go.
I followed the measurements exactly this week. It's always fun to play along!
Here's a look at all the fun double-sided designs that can be found in the GORGEOUS Sale-A-Bration Rings of Love 12" x 12" DSP pack. This paper will be available from July-August. I love the bold & neutral color tones. It is also nature themed and will coordinate with the Ringed in Nature Bundle.
I started with a Starry Sky card base. Adhere the Rings of Love DSP layer centering it on the card base.
I used the following Stampin' Write Marker colors to create the flower die cut:
- Poppy Parade
- Evening Evergreen
- Soft Suede
- Starry Sky
I die cut a 3" circle using Petal Pink cardstock and attached the flower die cut to the circle using dimensionals.
Did you notice? I dry embossed the Vellum layer using the Stitched Greenery Die as you can see here. This is a first! I actually liked how the back side of the Vellum layer turned out. The white stitching is way more predominant so I attached it to the card base with the back side facing the front!
I used the Bough Punch to add some bold color branches & flower details.
Here are the select cardstock colors:
- Crushed Curry
- Evening Evergreen
- Parakeet Party
- Starry Sky
I stamped the greeting in Starry Sky Ink and used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut the image out. I attached it to the card base using dimensionals. I cut a 10" piece of Petal Pink 3/8" Soft Polyester Ribbon and tied a bow. I attached it to the stem of the flowers using a Mini Glue Dot.
I added (5) Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to take it over the top!
