CASE-ING TUESDAY #361 - WONDERFUL WORLD SALE-A-BRATION SNEAK PEEK

Happy first day of Summer! Today we are CASE-ing the front cover the Annual Catalog. 

I think this is one of the prettiest catalog covers Stampin' Up! has ever designed! Although, how many of you keep reaching for that metal die at the bottom? Yep, I'm guilty!

I followed the measurements for the most part. I trimmed the first DSP layer down to 4-1/8" x 5-3/8". 

Wonderful World Stamp Set

I used the following Stampin' Write Markers in the following colors to create my flowers: 

• Highland Heather
• Flirty Flamingo
• Mossy Meadow
• So Saffron
• Pear Pizzaz

I used Mossy Meadow for the card base. Unfortunately, there aren't any coordinating dies that go with this set so I had to fussy cut each of the flowers by hand using my favorite Paper Snips. I used the Blossoming Happiness Dies to create the torn paper edge on the DSP layer. I attached it to the card base at a slight angle using dimensionals. 

I used a Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Write Marker to color the rose image on the stamp. Next, I used Mossy Meadow to color the stem image on the stamp. HELPFUL TIP: I like to “Huff” on the stamp to moisten the ink and then I stamp the image on a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock. Repeat these steps using the other colors of Stampin' Markers I mentioned above for the other flower images. 

I stamped the greeting from the True Beauty Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink and used the Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut the image out. I attached it to the card base using dimensionals. Next, I added (3) Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots for some added bling!
