CASE-ING TUESDAY #350 - SWEET STRAWBERRY BUNDLE 🍓

Hi everyone! For today's card, I found myself reaching for the Sweet Strawberry Bundle. I just feel like I didn't get enough time to play around with this set before it retired. Unfortunately, it has sold out and is no longer available.

Here is the example card we are CASE-ing (Copy and Share Everything) that can be found on page 26 of the Mini Catalog. When I first looked at this sketch, I thought about skipping this week's challenge. LOL! It definitely was not one of my favorites. However, once I started reaching for some retired paper scraps I soon fell in love!

I altered the measurements this week. I added an additional card layer so that meant I had to trim each of the rectangles down another 1/8" of an inch.

Measurements:
Garden Green Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" score at 4-1/4" & folded in half
Basic White Cardstock Layer: 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"
Berry Delightful DSP (Strawberry Seed): 1-3/8" x 1-7/8" & 1-3/8" x 1-7/8"
Berry Delightful DSP (Gingham): (2) 1-3/8" x 1-7/8" & 1-3/8" x 1-7/8"
Berry Delightful DSP (Strawberry Print): (2) 1-3/8" x 1-7/8"
Basic White Sentiment: 1/2" x 1-1/2" & 1/2" x 1"

Adhere each of the rectangles to the Basic White cardstock layer. Adhere the Basic White cardstock layer to the card base.

Stamp the inner strawberry image in Poppy Parade ink. Stamp the outer strawberry image in Real Red ink. Punch both the images out. Stamp the inner image of the stem in Garden Green ink. Stamp the outer stem image in Garden Green ink. Punch both stems out. Stamp the inner leaf image in Pear Pizzazz ink. Stamp the outer leaf image in Garden Green ink. Punch all three leaves out.

Attach the strawberries to the card base using dimensionals. Attach the stem to the top of the strawberry using a mini dimensional. Adhere the leaves to the card base using Multipurpose Glue.

I stamped the greeting in Real Red ink. I have a jar on my desk where I keep all my paper scraps after I cut an 8-1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock into four 4" x 5-1/4" layers. This makes it fast and easy to create a simple sentiment like this one. Stamp the sentiment as normal and then cut it down to two as shown. Attach the sentiments using dimensionals.

Last, add (3) Wonderful Gems for a bit of sparkle. I hope you like the card I created for you today. Remember to always Bash your Paper Stash!
