January Card Technique

Quick Blender Pen Coloring 

Definition: Color images quickly in one simple step with one tool.

Supplies: Line Art Stamp Images (best with some internal detail), Classic Ink, 

Whisper White Cardstock & Blender Pens

1. Create the detail of a lightly colored stamped image without adding a lot of time or supplies.
2. Select an outline image style of stamp. Images that have some internal detail or shading are best for this technique. Sample uses the Hello Cupcake Stamp Set from Sale-A-Bration.
3. Stamp the image on Whisper White cardstock with Classic Ink. 
4. Working fairly quickly before the ink dries completely, use a Blender Pen to color the stamped images. 
5. When coloring start in the darkest areas and work towards the open areas or where the light would hit the image. 

TIP: Avoid coloring over the same area more than a couple of times to prevent the paper from absorbing too much liquid and pilling.
