MONDAY MONTAGE INSTAHOP - SUNFLOWER 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER

It has been awhile since I last created a card using watercolors. The new Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder makes it a dream! With water coloring, you can enhance your embossed designs by adding color and depth through layered watercolor applications. 

The Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder will be available with the launch of the July Online Exclusive products. To start, I dry embossed the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. As you can see, the intricate details are AMAZING!

This water coloring technique takes time and patience. Using a water color brush I applied Crush Curry ink to each of the flowers petals. I used Mossy Meadow ink for the leaves. Early Espresso ink for the seeds. 

The sentiment and layered die cuts are a sneak peek from an upcoming bundle being featured in the September-December Mini Catalog. You guessed it. Better known as the Holiday Catalog. It's called Peace on Earth. As demonstrators we were able to showcase projects using this bundle during our recent Creativity Now virtual event. I can't wait to create more projects for you utilizing this set. 

The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink on the Basic White die cut label. It layers perfectly on the Mossy Meadow label. I used dimensionals to adhere it to the card front. 

Adhere the dry embossed layer on a Early Espresso cardstock layer. I used a distressing tool on the top right corner and gently folded it back. Next, I wrapped Crumb Cake Baker's Twine around the Early Espresso cardstock layer and tied a bow. 

I added (3) clear gems from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink embellishment pack. I hope you like the card I designed for you today.

• Card Base - 4 1/4" x 11" (scored at 5 1/2") Mossy Meadow 
• Cardstock Layer - 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" Early Espresso
• Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper Layer - 4" x 5 1/4" 
• Sentiment Die Cut Label - 2" x 4" Basic White
• Sentiment Die Cut Label - 2 1/4" x 4 1/4" Mossy Meadow
