CASE-ING TUESDAY #447 - FOREVER LOVE

WOW! I realized today that it's been a long time since I've attended a wedding. Probably five years or more. I forgot how fun it is to create a wedding inspired greeting card. The CASE-ing Tuesday Sketch Challenges are a simple tool that helps bring design inspiration and puts them into action. Have you joined the CASE-ing Tuesday group on Facebook yet? If not, we would love to have you. I followed the sketch exactly this week. 

The GORGEOUS Forever Love Designer Series Paper features delicate hand-drawn floral imagery along with gold and intricate designs. I used one of the beautiful patterns as a focal point for the background layer on my card. For the next element of design, I selected two additional paper designs that I thought would compliment the soft hues of my card. They include both Pretty Peacock and Very Vanilla. 

Unfortunately, the Fine Shimmer 12" x 12" Specialty Paper has been discontinued. I still wanted to use the gold shimmer from the pack to add dimension and depth to the sentiment. The Lifetime of Love dies have several modern label dies including added greenery like you see here.  

I wrapped Pretty Peacock & Gold 3/8" Ribbon around the Floral Love 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper and tied a bow at the top. 

The sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock Ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. I die cut the sentiment using the Stylish Shapes Circle dies. 

The flowers were stamped in Tuxedo Memento Black ink and colored with Pretty Peacock and Petal Pink Stampin' Blends. For the last step, I added (3) Petal Pink Foiled Gems.
