Hot Air Ballon Card

Just thought I would share a simple card that I made today using the Create a Cupcake stamp set (W 121915, C 121982) & matching Cupcake builder punch (121807). As always. the last round of my technique club means the girls & I partake in a fun card SWAP. Notice the clouds are the "top" of the cupcake. The cupcake liner or "bottom" was used to create the adorable basket.

The hot air ballon pieces were attached using natural Hemp Twine (100982). My Big Shot came in handy for the embossed dotted background (Textured Impressions-Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder 117335). I handcut each blade of "grass" using my paper snips (103579). I love the look of the Chocolate Chip 5/8" satin ribbon (124327).

BTW~Stampin' Up!'s paper snips are by far the BEST crafting scissors I have ever owned. They stay super duper sharp & always cut with a clean edge (including ribbon-so you won't struggle with any frayed edges!!).
